Kyle Wallack, known professionally as KW, is an American artist whose practice began seriously in New York City following two surgeries for parotid gland cancer. During recovery, he began painting obsessively, first creating robot figures as self-portraits before developing Refined Graffiti, a style influenced by the street culture of Lower Manhattan and the galleries of Chelsea.His work has since evolved into painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture, with a focus on people, everyday life and the human form. Wallack’s work has been exhibited and collected throughout the United States and internationally, including London and the U.K.
