Business Expense explores two sides of the artist’s journey. From the outside, the case represents the money and expense that comes with traveling and creating. Open it up and it becomes the artist’s bag, filled with the actual spray cans used in the process.
The piece plays with the idea of heading out to make graffiti without anyone knowing what you’re carrying or what you’re about to create. One side presents the business. The other holds the tools.
Every element was hand painted, and the original spray cans inside were used by the artist.
